I've lost track of time, that's for sure. I love blogging, and love to follow the blogs of others. It's an easy way to keep up with friends, family, and even inspirational mother's I've never even met. Oh, and photographers, too.
Blogging is a great way to connect with others in the world. The possibilities are endless when you look at all of the different topics people share. I've read and followed many blogs and have learned so much. Bloggers usually find it therapeutic to write and share with the world their life experiences. In return, the readers gain knowledge, as well as reassurance that there are others out there who can relate.
A friend of mine, who's infant was diagnosed with CP has found blogging as an outlet. It's a therapeutic release for her, but at the same time, she's helping others in similar situations while keeping her friends and loved ones updated on her son's progress. Great job, Jaimie: http://karsensjourney.blogspot.com/
Now, I also follow lady that I've never met. She is a mother of three precious children. Her blog quickly became recognized when she let the world in on her ever so truthful birth story of her second daughter who had DS. Kelle Hampton was not afraid to share her story, she had no reason to. Why? Because it was written from the heart, her true feelings, written so honestly. Kelle didn't try to cover up her experience with what she thought her readers would want to hear, but rather what they "should" here. I love someone who isn't afraid to face the truth. She took the opportunity to speak about real feelings and emotions. The second she met her precious baby girl, she knew a brand new path was created just for her. It initially scared her, but she soon understood the gift she was given. It's a beautiful story. You can visit her blog here: http://www.kellehampton.com/
Anyhow, I really miss this place and can hopefully set aside some time update our lonely blog. So, fingers crossed that updates will be frequent. ;)
